Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Expo Opens on September 18

On September 18th and 19th, Virtual Travel Events, a division of travAlliancemedia will hold their second Destination Weddings and Honeymoons expo this year.  The first expo, which took place in January, brought in 1400+ unique travel agents looking to gain the knowledge they need in order to better sell this very lucrative market.

The second expo, a two-day event which will be held from 2-6pm ET, will include numerous suppliers and destinations that will have representatives on hand to answer any questions agents have about their product, property, or destination.  Several suppliers and destinations have already signed on to participate including Couples Resorts, Palace Resorts, Jewel Resorts, Grand Lucayan, Fiesta Americana, Oasis Hotels & Resorts, and the Ecuador Tourism Board.

This event will also include live and interactive presentations hosted by industry experts which will further allow agents to expand their expertise in this category of travel. Travel agents will also hear from their colleagues during workshops that will discuss the latest trends in the destination weddings and honeymoons market along with tips on how to increase their business in this segment.
