Following a decade of successful presence in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Excelencias Group -the expansion affiliate of Exclusivas Latinoamericanas, the prestigious Spanish company- is boasting an amazing portfolio of publications and projects in which tourism, communication, culture and business have been the name of the game.

With representation offices in Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Aruba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Venezuela, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Panama, Costa Rica and Brazil, the Excelencias Group is a proud member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization, the Caribbean Hotel Association and maintains collaboration ties with UNESCO. In 2003 in New York City, the Caribbean Tourism Association granted the company the award to the Best Feature Report on the Caribbean published by a European News Organization.

Over 13 million printed copies, thousands of illustrated pages with interesting articles on an endless number of topics in magazines that have been translated in half a dozen languages, several digital publications sought after by hundreds of thousands of Netizens, a publicity and promotion agency, a travel agency, tourist representations, graphic art services in printing presses of its own and a solid staff of professional editors and creators speak volumes of what the Excelencias Group is all about.

An ambitious commemorative program to mark the group’s tenth anniversary will take place throughout 2007 and will be put out in its different publications through reports and interviews with boldface names linked to the realms of tourism and culture, businesspeople, hoteliers, tour operators and travel agents, as well as in other news media in the turf and abroad.

The celebration program includes activities in a number of Caribbean countries and in Spain, featuring such events as press conferences, painting exhibits by fine artists who have collaborated with the Excelencias Group, concerts with outstanding musicians, an international journalistic contest on tourism and a photography contest on the same topic, among many other initiatives that will be informed to the public in coming publications.
