Excelencias Group Confirms Interest in the Russia Market
The Caribbean Tourist Excellences magazine’s second issue in Russian and the debut of Excelencias Travel magazine in that same language –both published by the Excelencias Group to target that growing market- were widely acclaimed during the International Travel & Tourism Fair (MITT 2009) fair held in Moscow.
In this year’s event, the Excelencias Group also promoted the Russian-language issue of the Caribbean News Digital newspaper (www.caribbeannewsdigital.com/ru) with over 6,000 readers already among industry professionals working either directly or indirectly with that market.
“Russia and the entire Community of Independent States are in our best interest not only for their tremendous potentials as emerging outbound markets toward the Caribbean and the Americas, but also for the huge amount of Spanish and European investments they are drawing in,” said Jose Carlos de Santiago, President and CEO of the Excelencias Group during the presentation of the new products within the framework of MITT 2009. “The Excelencias Group wants to be one of the leading companies in this ongoing process,” he added.
Mr. de Santiago reminded the audience that the two printed magazines that circulated in this year’s MITT fair can also be read online at http://www.revistasexcelencias.com/, a site in which surfers of the world wide web may virtually thumb through their pages as if they were reading a pulp publication.
In its second issue in Russian language, Caribbean Tourist Excellences makes special room for adventure tourism in the Caribbean, includes a feature report on Panama City and another one on the Dominican Republic, in both cases with complete guidebooks. Other articles dealing with the Caribbean Rum Route, Cuba’s Varadero Beach, Havana’s celebrated Tropicana cabaret and classic cars are also in the issue.
For its part, the first issue of the Excelencias Travel magazine features a monograph of the Balearic Islands with in-depth looks at the undisputed natural beauties of this archipelago, as well as the adventure travel, shopping opportunities and cuisine it has to offer.
