Excellences Group at the Tourism Convention

Once again, the Excellences Group is having a hands-on participation in Cuba’s Tourism Convention now underway at the Plaza America Conference Center in Varadero in its 23rd edition.

Among the publications the group is presenting this time around, the Holguin Travel Guidebook was officially launched yesterday morning. This guidebook published in five languages provides the most complete blueprint of the province of Holguin in eastern Cuba.

Entitled Cuba: Holguin For You, the guidebook offers those willing to travel to this premiere tourist circuit on the island nation –even those already there- useful and amusing information to learn about and move around the region. The guidebook’s edition was put out by Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism Delegation in the province of Holguin in collaboration with Spain’s Exclusivas Latinoamericanas.

This 172-page handy paperback book featuring easy-to-read texts and gorgeous illustrations treasures valuable information broken down in five sections: Cuba and Holguin; The City of Parks; The Coastline Paradise; The Unexplored Nature of the East, and Just Curiosity, plus Useful Tips, What’s On and Commercial Guide.

In the same breath, the 44th issue of the well-known Caribbean Tourist Excellences magazine, dealing with the tourist realm both in Cuban and overseas, will also be available. In this month’s issue, the publication’s main articles and feature reports are The History of the Mayan Civilization and its Mysterious Disappearance, San Juan de Puerto Rico and The Legacy of the Bantu Culture in the Caribbean. The issue also features a full-length interview with Frank Fernandez, one of Cuba’s most prestigious pianists, plus the traditional section Choices.

Make no mistakes about it; the Excellences Group will once again be present at the Tourism Convention with a couple of publications ready to rivet readers’ attention.
