Fitur 2016: The Best Place to Plan Your Vacation

Fitur 2016 showcases a wide range of tourism and leisure offers, and it stands out as the best place to plan your next vacation. The International Travel Fair 2016 will be open through Sunday January 24, although the public in general will be only allowed to step into the fairground on weekend. Over 222,551 attendees are expected in this edition, more than last year.
Those who love tourism and adventure have a can’t-miss date in Ifema, Madrid. Fitur 2016, the 36th edition of the International Travel Fair, comes with more offers than ever due to the participation record: 9,500 companies from 165 countries and regions exhibit their tourism and leisure proposals within 60,000 sq. meters.
Beyond your travel preferences (monumental tourism, adventure, beach, etc.), Fitur is undoubtedly the perfect showcase to pick up ideas for your next vacation.
Fitur will be open through January 24, although the general public is only going to have access during the weekend. It carpets pavilions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Fair of Madrid, and Andalusia being the main partner is one of the new elements.
The list of participants comprises wholesalers and tour operators, travel agencies, companies related to the transportation, hotel management, infrastructure, leisure and culture, service companies, residential tourism, media, Spanish and foreign official organizations, professional associations, incentives, meetings and congresses, training and incoming agencies in Spain.
The fair has gone up to a new level in terms of participation, both national and international. The first one features 85 new exhibitors, with a significant increase of technological companies (40 new exhibitors), and Health Tourism (totaling 25 companies with 12 newcomers).
On the other hand, there are 77 new exhibitors in the international area (Burkina Faso stands out by attending with an official delegation and Latvia has a business representation), as well as 16 returns, including the Netherlands, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, Belize and Guinea, which were present in the previous edition and now come with official representation.
Likewise, the growth of Europe is outstanding in this edition, with a significant entrepreneurial participation; as well as Africa, with the incorporation and consolidation of new destinations from that continent.
