Historic Quito to Host 2013 Travel Mart Latin America Conference

The historic city of Quito, Ecuador will host the TravelMart Latin America conference from September 18 to 20 at the Quorum Quito Convention Center. The event will provide leisure travel stakeholders with opportunities to meet with key officials from hotels, airlines, cruise companies, tour operators, car rental firms, attractions, resorts, tourist boards, city and convention bureaus, and promotional organizations from across South and Central America.

Attendees can schedule appointments on one of two designated meeting days through TravelMart’s Select Match system. The conference will also highlight Ecuador’s most recent tourism-related developments, including the new Mariscal Sucre International Airport and the Convention Center, which opened earlier this year.

The conference will also feature three hosted seminar programs. Antonio del Rosal Stanford, executive director for Latin America for the Adventure Travel Trade Association will present "Adventure Travel: Tips and Trends” on September 18. The same day, the Latin American Travel Association will offer “How to Sell Latin America in 2013.” On September 19 the Rainforest Alliance will present a seminar immediately preceding the day’s business appointment sessions.
