Iberostar to Debut New Global Distribution Platform Powered by The Travelmixer

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has joined hands with technological company The Travelmixer to come up with its own global distribution platform that will allow the Spain-based hotel chain to process real-time bookings from any retail outlet or travel agency wired to The Travelmixer’s Reglowmixer online application.

The new distribution platform –to be announced in FITUR 2008 in Spain’s Madrid- will pay off significantly for all booking outlets operating in the Spanish market and across Europe. This customized travel solution lays bares Iberostar’s clear-cut commitment to innovation and multiple distribution.

The Travelmixer’s application will also make Iberostar the first hotel company to count on a tool of its own to piece together travel packages and discount offers in a customized way, thus giving lodgings more wiggle room to chip in products of their own in those vacation packages.
