Jamaica’s Edmund Bartlett to Attend FITUR

Jamaican tourism minister Edmund Bartlett is in Spain to attend the FITUR tourism trade show that kicked off yesterday morning (Madrid time) and will continue thru Feb. 1.

FITUR is the first grand tourism event on the calendar for the international tourism industry and more than $150,000 participants and 65,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s event.

Director of tourism and chairman of the Jamaica Tourism Board John Lynch and Director General Carole Guntley are also slated to attend the five-day event in the Spanish capital.
