La Cumbre Travel Summit Underway in Las Vegas
The 2011 La Cumbre travel summit is underway at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. The three-day event kicked off Wednesday with a press conference which included Rafael Villanueva with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Association and former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, among others.
La Cumbre, now in its 22nd year, is described as the continental marketplace for travel professionals from The Americas and includes exhibitors from all over the hemisphere and buyers from The Americas, Europe and Asia.
The summit is expected to host more than 1,000 delegates and international journalists from Latin America.
