Caribbean airline LIAT is nearing completion of its fleet upgrade, which began in 2013. A 68-seat ATR-72 joined the fleet on April 16 after LIAT pilots flew the aircraft from Toulouse, France, to LIAT's Antigua headquarters.

LIAT now has a fleet of nine ATR aircraft (five ATR-42s with 48 seats and four ATR 72s). The company expects to take delivery of another aircraft in 2016.
