MITM Americas, CULTOURFAIR Ready to Roll in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo is ready to host the 21st edition of MITM Americas & 7th of CULTOURFAIR this November 14/17 at El Embajador, a Royal Hideaway Hotel which offers excellent infrastructure destined towards the MICE sector.

Santo Domingo has been nominated as the Capital of Caribbean Gastronomic Culture 2017, which makes it an ideal destination to receive MITM Americas & CULTOURFAIR, the oldest MICE and Cultural B2B exhibitions of America and Caribbean.

La Asociación de Hoteles de Santo Domingo (AHSD) y el Ministerio de Turismo de República Dominicana (MITUR) have organized an excellent official program that allows the participants to enjoy the local gastronomy, their knowhow and the Dominican’s magic.

From the 345 pre-registered buyers only the top 70 are approved to participate. These hosted buyers will have the opportunity to join one of the two fabulous post-tours that will contribute to the familiarization of the buyers and the press with Dominican Republic.

The first post -tour will take place in Punta Cana where they will be visiting Casa Hemingway´s facilities, Barceló Hotel and Occidental Hotel among others. The second day will be dedicated to Juan Dolio area and its beaches.

The second post-tour offers a visit to the North cost of Dominican Republic, San Francisco de Macorís and its Sendero del Cacao. It worths to make a reference at the Sisters Mirabal´s house- museum, murdered by Trujillo and who gave the origin to November 25th - International day for the elimination of violence against women.

The second day, after the visit to Santiago De Los Caballeros the groups will visit a tobacco factory and Ron Brugal factory among other activities in Puerto Plata.
