New Switzerland-Cuba Nonstop Flight Announced

Swiss airlines Edelweiss will have an additional nonstop flight between the city of Zurich and Havana, starting in April, 2015, announced Cuba’s Tourism Ministry (MINTUR) on Tuesday.
 
The route, which will have two weekly frequencies, will increase the arrival in Havana of visitors from Switzerland and other nations of Europe, and from the island nation’s capital to other travel destinations in the Caribbean country, experts of the Cuban Tourism Ministry hope.
 
Edelweiss, the name of Switzerland’s national flower and the country’s top airline for tourist trips in that European country, flies over 1.3 million passengers a year in over 40 nations and offers multi-destination options.
