Norwegian Cruise Line Opens Reservations on 2014 Itineraries

Norwegian Cruise Line has opened for sale its 2014 summer and year-round cruises, including the new Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway in their respective homeports of New York and Miami, along with three ships in Alaska and four in Europe for the summer. Norwegian will also continue to offer its Hawaii cruises year-round on Pride of America from Honolulu and short Bahamas itineraries year-round on Norwegian Sky.

Norwegian will continue its tradition of sailing from both Boston and New York City to Bermuda between May and October 2014. Norwegian Breakaway will enter its second season in Bermuda, sailing from New York City on seven-day cruises every Sunday from May 4, 2014, through Sept. 28, 2014. From Boston, Norwegian Dawn will depart Boston every Friday, from May 9, 2014, through Oct. 31, 2014.

Norwegian Getaway will sail year-round from Miami to the Eastern Caribbean on seven-day cruises every Saturday beginning Feb. 1, 2014. Ports of call include St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassau.

Three ships will sail Alaska in the summer of 2014 -- the Norwegian Pearl and Norwegian Jewel from Seattle and Norwegian Sun from Vancouver and Whittier, Alaska. Norwegian Jewel, departing Saturdays, will sail 18 seven-day Sawyer Glacier cruises from Seattle between May 17, 2014, and Sept. 13, 2014. Departing Sundays, Norwegian Pearl will set sail 19 seven-day Glacier Bay itineraries from May 18, 2014, through Sept. 21, 2014. Norwegian Sun will sail between Vancouver and Whittier on Mondays from May 19, 2014, through Sept. 22, 2014.

Norwegian Epic will return to Europe, sailing 24 seven-day Western Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona and from Rome (Civitavecchia) between May 11, 2014, and Oct. 19, 2014. Norwegian Star will sail nine-day Baltic Capitals cruises from Copenhagen between May 19, 2014, and Sept. 13, 2014. This itinerary includes an overnight in St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as a scenic sail through the Stockholm Archipelago.

On Sept. 22, 2014, Norwegian Star will depart on the 14-day Norway, Iceland and Faroe Islands itinerary from Copenhagen, visiting Bergen and Alesund, Norway; Lerwick, Shetland Islands; Thorshavn, Faroe Islands; Reykjavik, Iceland; Glasgow, Scotland; and Dublin, Ireland.

Norwegian Jade will sail alternating seven-day cruises to the “Greek Isles” and “Adriatic, Greece and Turkey” from Venice, Italy, between May 10, 2014, and Oct. 18, 2014.

Norwegian Spirit will offer 12-day Grand Mediterranean voyages from April 24, 2014, through Nov. 2, 2014. The cruises depart from Barcelona and Venice.

Norwegian Gem will sail from New York City on 19 seven-day Bahamas and Florida cruises between May 3, 2014, and Sept. 6, 2014. Norwegian Sky will continue sailing three- and four-day cruises to the Bahamas year-round from Miami, departing Fridays and Mondays.
