Norwegian Debuts Faster Travel Agent Booking Tool

Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a new travel agent booking engine designed to simplify and speed up the booking process, an initiative that is part of the Partners First program. Accessible through www.bookncl.com, the new booking engine lets agents book multiple staterooms simultaneously and attach multiple promotional codes to each reservation.

In addition, agents can add air information, land packages, shore excursions, onboard entertainment and dining reservations (on Norwegian Epic only). Special requests and amenities may also be requested. The tool includes a quick search feature on all screens and an option to search for guests’ Latitudes Rewards numbers. Agents also can send cruise travel kits to alternate addresses, copy reservations and reinstate bookings.

According to Norwegian, other Partners First agent booking innovations are in the works and will be rolled out in 2012, including the ability to create and manage group blocks on an FIT basis, manage tour conductor credits, apply group amenities at a stateroom level, and more.
