Oceania to Offer South Pacific Sailings

Oceania Cruises will offer its first South Pacific season during winter 2011-12, a season that will bring Oceania ships to 16 new destinations and 33 new ports.

The addition of Oceania’s first newbuild, the 1,258-passenger Marina, will enable the three-ship line to venture into more parts of the world, said James Rodriguez, Oceania’s senior vice president of marketing. The Marina enters service in January.

The 684-passenger Regatta will sail Oceania’s first South Pacific season, visiting Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Tonga, American Samoa, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and the Cook Islands. The winter lineup also includes itineraries in Asia, South America, the Caribbean and Australia/New Zealand.
