Paul Gauguin’s Second Ship to Sail in Europe, Latin America

Paul Gauguin Cruises unveiled the 2013 itineraries for its second ship -- the 90-guest m/v Tere Moana -- which will offer voyages in Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. As with the Paul Gauguin in Tahiti, cruise fares for the Moana include gratuities, soft drinks, select wines and spirits.
After undergoing a renovation to be completed in December, the Moana will set sail under the Paul Gauguin Cruises’ banner on Dec. 29 on a seven-night Caribbean voyage with Chairman Richard Bailey aboard. Tere Moana currently is operating as Compagnie du Ponant’s Le Levant, but will leave that fleet in late October or early November.
The Moana will sail 13 itineraries in 2013, specializing in warm-weather destinations -- Europe in the summer and the Caribbean and Latin America in the winter. The company is currently offering 50 percent off standard cruise fares for 2013 voyages on the Moana.
Also, 5 percent savings are available to past guests of the Paul Gauguin on all Moana sailings with 10 percent available to past guests on select Moana sailings departing Jan. 5, March 30, April 20, July 6, Aug. 17, Nov. 2, Nov. 16 and Dec. 7, 2013, when booked by Sept. 1, 2012.
