Phoenix Airways, a new inter-Caribbean airline, has announced the commencement of its flight service to and from St Kitts, starting July 16, 2014.

The airline will serve destinations such as Aruba, Barbados, Antigua, Nevis, St Maarten, Anguilla, Tortola and Santo Domingo. Operations to St Thomas, St Croix and Puerto Rico will begin in October 2014 and to Miami and New York in January 2015.

Phoenix Airways has a fleet of four aircraft. These aircraft include a King Air (8-9) seats, a Beech 1900 (19 seats), an Embraer 120ER (30 seats) and a Boeing 737 (141 seats). Phoenix Airways said it intends to provide superior service at prices 15 percent less than its competitors.

“We provide on-time travel, no delays, no lost luggage, no inflation of prices and we’ll be offering regular giveaways. Throughout the Caribbean region we will be known as one of the best airlines,” the carrier said.
