Preps Under Way for FITVEN 2012

The seventh edition of Venezuela’s International Tourism Fair (Fitven 2012) is going to be held on September 6 - 9. Venetur Alba Caracas Hotel and Teresa Carreño Theater’s outdoor spaces and Museums Square were the areas chosen as the Fair Ground where viewers will enjoy 15.235 square meters of exhibitions related to Venezuelan and international travel destinations.
The exhibition space is going to be divided into pavilions, the first of which is the Venezuelan Pavilion located at Venetur Alba Caracas Hotel’s Bicentennial Hall. Venezuela’s natural and patrimonial attractions will be showcased as six tourism areas divided into Llanos, Andes, Orinoquia, Central, Eastern and Western Venezuelan Caribbean, represented by the Mixed Tourism Funds.
The International pavilion will be displaying 34 booths from brother countries that are going to shed light on the very best of their cultural and tourism areas. Likewise, Teresa Carreño Theater’s outdoor spaces will be housing the Products and Services pavilion, putting together factors related to national tourism such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, land, air and sea transportation, banks and state-run institutions, sponsors, tourism unions, etc.
A wide space at Venetur Alba Caracas Hotel targets international talks and seminars, as well as professional exchange rounds in order to encourage the participation of national service providers, who will be marketing tickets, accommodations, multimode transportation systems (air, land and sea), recreational activities and gastronomic services. In like manner, different handicrafts and gastronomy booths are going to be located all over the Museums Square.
This 7th edition of the Feria Internacional de Turismo – FitVen 2012, will take place from September 6th to September 9th in the city of Caracas, in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
