Presidents of Latin American Gastronomy Academies to Hold Annual Meeting

The Blanco Enea Restaurant, nestled in Cordoba, Spain, served dinner for the Presidents of Latin American Gastronomy Academies, accompanied by Rafael Jaen, city councilor for the environment and heritage, right before the General Meeting that took place on Friday 14.
Chef José María González Blanco, awarded as the best chef of Córdoba, prepared a special menu at his Blanco Enea restaurant.
On Friday 14, Rafael Anson, President of the Royal Spanish Gastronomy Academy, chaired the meeting with the Gastronomy Academies from different regions of Spain.
The annual Meeting of the Latin American Gastronomy Academy was held on Saturday 15 and was also headed by Rafael Anson, accompanied by Assistant Chairman D. Nicolás Muela, Secretary General Mr. Alfonso Marín Caffarena and the Academy’s Ambassador to the Americas, Mr. José Carlos de Santiago. All Latin American Academies were represented at the meeting.
The agenda of matters to be debated included the official acceptance of the recently created Dominican Gastronomy Academy into the Latin American Gastronomy Academy, as a full member.
