Romania Promoted at Russia’s MITT 2014 International Tourism Fair

The National Tourism Authority (ANT) and seven specialized companies of Romania were attending the 21st edition of the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition MITT 2014, the largest specialized fair in Russia and Eastern Europe, between March 19 and 21.

The event gathered approximately 3,000 tourism companies and national agencies from more than 200 countries. MITT is among the largest five tourism exhibitions in the world.

Romania's stand organized by ANT stretched on 100 square meters, with three open sides. It hosted seven Romanian companies that benefit thus from the opportunity of meeting companies and potential partners of the Russian market to enhance or eventually launch cooperation in the tourism industry.

“The success and results of the MITT 2014 tourism fair will implicitly result in the success of the awareness of Romania's tourist brand among experts and subsequently among the public, with the country's six most competitive tourist products: cultural tours, nature tourism, rural tourism, city-break type packages, action and adventure tourism, and balneal and wellness tourism,” said an ANT release received by AGERPRES on Thursday.

The Romanian companies offered those interested a wide range of tourist products and packages - seaside holidays, treatments, medical services.
