Seaborne Airlines Launches Two New Routes to Guadeloupe, Martinique

Seaborne Airlines announced Monday that they will launch two new routes from San Juan, Puerto Rico to the French West Indies Islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. These nonstop flights will begin June 1st. This new lift to these beautiful islands is timed for connections to and from the United States and Canada, with convenient interline connections available via American Airlines.

To commemorate the launch of these exciting new destinations, Seaborne is offering fares as low as EUR 99 one way for travel. Bookings must be made by June 15th for travel by July 31st, 2013. Flights can be reserved via SeaborneAirlines.com, Expedia, Travelocity or through your local travel agency. Connecting travel with American Airlines is also available on AA.com.

These routes will be flown with the 34-seat Saab340B turboprop. The Saab operates with two pilots, a flight attendant, in-flight service and a lavatory. This 34 seat aircraft has the comfort of most modern jetliners and the increased speed will provide the fastest overall journey on all routes Seaborne flies. This fuel efficient aircraft will help keep Seaborne competitive and eco-friendly.

Seaborne Airlines has been operating in the Caribbean for almost 20 years. With 625 weekly departures, Seaborne has ten destinations on both airport and seaplane routes. They operate to San Juan, Vieques, St. Thomas airport and seaplane base, St. Croix airport and seaplane base, Dominica, Tortola and Virgin Gorda along with the new routes of Guadeloupe and Martinique.
