Seven Stars Resort Celebrates Delta’s Expanded Service to Turks and Caicos

Seven Stars Resort recently joined Delta Air Lines executives and the Turks and Caicos Tourism Board to celebrate newly-expanded service to Turks and Caicos. The by-invitation-only event heralded the addition of a new, seasonal, direct flight servicing Providenciales, Turks and Caicos departing from JFK International Airport on Saturdays now through August 30, 2014. The event served as a prelude to the flight’s inaugural departure from New York, which took place on Saturday, March 8, 2014 (pictured left).

The addition of this new flight is timed to coincide with Delta’s expanded service at Boston Logan International Airport, where a similar seasonal direct-flight servicing Providenciales has also been added to help meet the rising demand to visit the Turks and Caicos by travelers. Both new flights will be operated by an Airbus 320 and depart on Saturdays only now through August 30, 2014.

“With a $10 million expansion to the Providenciales International Airport terminal expected to be completed in 2014 and having two more direct flights departing from the two largest airports in the Northeast makes it even easier for travelers to visit Seven Stars Resort,” said Bryan Guillot, president, Thomas Lee Group, which runs the sales and marketing for the resort. “The additional airlift will poise Turks and Caicos as an even more appealing and accessible destination and, as a result, we look forward to welcoming new and past guests to our luxury resort.”

With the addition of multiple direct flight options, each just around three hours; travelers can spend less time getting there and more time enjoying their vacation. At Seven Stars Resort, that means enjoying a best-in-the-world beach experience, and with some of the most spacious, well-appointed luxury accommodations on the island, including Seven Stars’ award-winning spa;  three on-site dining options; an expansive salt water pool; guest-only private and group boat excursions on the resort’s watercraft, Lady Tamara; fitness center featuring Yoga, Pilates and Body Toning; complimentary water sports including Hobie Cats, kayaks, snorkeling equipment and pool floats; tennis courts; and a kid’s camp.
