Spain’s Plus Ultra Airlines Pitches Hand in Ecuador

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas, faithful to its commitment to building bridges in Iberian-America, has joined hands with the French government to send technicians and humanitarian aid to Ecuador, following the violent earthquake that shook that Andean nation last week.

On April 23, an Airbus A340-300 aircraft owned by Spain-based Plus Ultra Lineas Aereas, landed in the city of Manta, one of the locations hit hard by the last Saturday earthquake, carrying 35 French specialized experts and several tons of humanitarian aid for the victims.

The Plus Ultra Lineas Aereas aircraft was chartered by the French government in an effort to support the victims of an earthquake occurred on April 16 that took a tragic toll of nearly 500 dead, some 3,000 wounded and several hundred people who remain unaccounted for, let alone countless damages and losses.
