Transaero Airlines Breaks Passenger Records

Transaero Airlines carried more than 1.5 million passengers last month, achieving the airline’s best ever result for July. Passenger traffic climbed eight percent from July 2013.

Transaero also recorded a 15 percent increase in the number of premium (Imperial, Business and Premium) class passengers in comparison with July 2013. The number of transit passengers also increased by 25 percent over July 2013.

In 2013 Transaero adopted a five-year development strategy - “Rational growth, efficiency and strategic focus” - to enhance the company’s operational and financial efficiency. With a focus on improving quality, its cost reduction program delivered savings of $169 million.
