U.N. Tourism Chief to Speak at CTO Event

The keynote speaker at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the Industry Conference, Oct. 11-13 in St. Kitts, will be Taleb Rifai, secretary general of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.

Rifai oversees the organization’s program to promote tourism as a driver of economic growth, development and environmental sustainability. Themes of the CTO conference are “Developing a Winning Strategy” and “Rediscovering Home.” The St. Kitts Marriott Resort will host the event.
