
Southwest Airlines for the first time will operate a summer Saturday schedule of 104 scheduled flights among a dozen airports in the continental United States and ten cities across the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America. Southwest spread its wings beyond the 48 contiguous United States in April 2013.

InselAir will start its Curacao-Manaus operations on July 3 on Mondays and Fridays. Puerto Ordaz flights start on July 14 and will be flown on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The largest Caribbean-based carrier offers its customers a total of 24 destinations and offers passengers the largest network in the Caribbean.

The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board has announced plans by Southwest Airlines to offer daily nonstop flights between John Wayne Airport in Orange County (SNA) and the International Airport Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz (PVR) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, starting June 18.
