
Avianca will launch a new nonstop flight frequency on the Bogota- Havana-Bogota route. The airline will offer more travel options for inbound and outbound tourism between Latin America and the Caribbean. This link between Colombia and Cuba will be operated by Airbus A319 aircraft with capacity for 120 passengers.

Transat A.T. Inc. announces the signing of an agreement with the U.S.-based International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) for the long-term (eight-year) leasing of four Boeing B737-800 aircraft. These planes will be introduced in summer 2014 and become the core of Air Transat's permanent narrow-body fleet.

Starting 25 November 2013, Air France will operate a scheduled service to Panama City, with three weekly flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, thus expanding its network to Central and South America and the Caribbean. Flights will be operated by Boeing 777-200 equipped with 309 seats.

Regional airline LIAT has announced services to another international airport in Guyana -- Ogle International Airport, which is closer to the capital Georgetown than the traditional Cheddi B Jagan International Airport.
