Excitement was in the air at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, as Royal Caribbean International marked the official start of construction by cutting the first piece of steel for its new Quantum Ultra ship.
Acapulco announces a massive increase in the number of new cruise ship arrivals throughout 2017. The city’s port is expected to welcome 32 ships this year, versus 18 for 2016, a 78 percent increase.

Norwegian Cruise Line has opened bookings for the Norwegian Sun's Cuba itineraries with a promotion -- a $50 onboard spending credit. The promotion also applies to the Norwegian Sky's Cuba cruises.

Starting on July 26th, new bookings to Cuba through Norwegian Cruise Line are now available. The 2018 itineraries will be aboard Norwegian Sun, which will homeport in Port Canaveral starting next May.
