Royal Caribbean has announced its lineup of Caribbean cruises for 2017 and 2018, including the first summer season of the new, Oasis-class Harmony of the Seas.

Cruise Planners works with Fathom to book travelers on seven-day volunteer cruises from Miami to the Dominican Republic and to Cuba beginning in the spring.

In an effort to simplify the cancellation process, Royal Caribbean International will now require passengers who book voyages with the cruise line to cancel the trip farther out then previously mandated.

While design plans, ship names and itineraries are still in development, the company said the Walt Disney Imagineering team is working on new innovations that be unique to the Disney cruise experience.

Group IST, which offers a seven-night, sail-around people-to-people program in Cuba aboard its two Panorama sailing yachts, has cut prices on its shoulder and low-season departures and will add a third vessel for the November 2016-April 2017 season, according to CEO Michael Goren.

Carlos PenaVega, the actor, singer and loyal Royal Caribbean cruise-goer is setting his sights on the spring when he will further his connection to the beloved musical and film Grease, this time for its debut on the Royal Caribbean stage.
