Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, South Korea’s third-largest shipbuilder is reported to be close to winning its first order to build a cruise ship. The shipbuilder is in talks with an unnamed Greek company over the deal, estimated at $600 million.
Costa Cruises and the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) have announced that the new Costa Deliziosa will be named in Dubai. Costa and DTCM will team up for the event, which marks the first time a cruise ship will be named in an Arabian city.
Costa Cruises, as part of its “So Much More Amore” wave season program, is offering $8,000 in cash to travel agents as well as rewards for their clients.
