“We must walk that critical path between promoting the experience of the world’s great natural marvels, whilst protecting them for future generations,” according to the CEO and President of The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

 

Lack of recognition of the economic role of tourism continues to hinder the sector’s growth potential and governments need to wake up and take action. That is one of the messages from the chief executive of the World Travel & Tourism Council at the opening ceremony of WTTC’s 2014 Americas Summit in Peru.

Beginning at the upcoming Conference & Trade Show-taking place in St. Maarten from October 6-10, 2014, PPI Group will be on hand at all FCCA events to recap happenings, interview executives and attendees, take photographs and videos, and provide social media updates.

Since the inaugural Seatrade Winter Cruising Forum in Malta in 2008, more cruise passenger numbers have continued to show that the concept of winter cruising to warmer climes continues to grow from strength to strength, with a growing number of cruise lines adding these itineraries to their programs.

Workshop topics have been announced for the 2014 FCCA Conference and Trade Show, taking place in St. Maarten from October 6-10. The workshops will focus on the cruise industry's current events and route for the future.
