Despite boasting spectacular scenery, a temperate year-round climate and the longest Caribbean coastline of any Latin American country, the number of tourists visiting Venezuela is still low. According to the BBC, this is something that Venezuelan tourism officials hope to change in the near future.
The Barbados Tourism Encyclopedia (BTE) launches a campaign featuring Barbados Carnival as a world heritage event on its website Barbados.org. The BTE created one of the first web pages on the Carnival back in 1995 and soon added the Carnival Calendar and photo-gallery.
Within the framework of the 7th edition of Venezuela’s International Tourism Fair (FitVen 2012), the Ministry of People’s Power for Tourism (Mintur) is going to give workshops for service providers on tourism negotiations and investment.
