Powering ahead in dynamic markets worldwide, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced the opening of Aloft South Beach. Located in Miami Beach, Florida, the Aloft hotel features 235 rooms.

Meliá Hotels International has announced the addition of its newest resort in South East Asia, the Meliá Yangon Myanmar.

This week, Rosewood Resorts announced the official reopening of its Las Ventanas al Paraiso hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico. The hotel, originally opened in 1997, has been updated to include a brand new activities program and guest services accommodations.

Tobago’s Bacolet Beach Club has completed a major expansion project. The boutique hotel has added 15 new marble-tiled suites, along with a new infinity pool on the hotel’s private bay.

Another new hotel is in development in Bocas del Toro off the Caribbean coast of Panama. London-based Union Hanover Securities has launched its second hotel in the area, Mantra.
