The brand is also reporting an increase in the average length of guest stay from four nights to more than five nights and growth in the weddings, golf and spa segments across the brand’s eight oceanfront properties in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Continuing its trajectory of rapid global growth and creating opportunity, Marriott International said earlier it expects its portfolio of hotels either open or under development to surpass one million rooms by the end of 2015.
