Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company with approximately 7,590 hotels and part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, announced the signing of a franchise agreement with local partner Costa del Sol to open 1,000 rooms across seven Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® branded properties.

Opening in December 2015, YOO2 Botafogo promises to ignite the senses in Rio de Janeiro. Designed by YOO Studio and forming part of YOO Hotels & Resorts, the hotel has been designed to be ‘in tune’ with the exotic destination and local culture.

G6 Hospitality, known for its iconic economy lodging brands, Motel 6 and Studio 6 in the U.S. and Canada, announced it is expanding its portfolio to include two new brands in Latin America: Hotel 6 and Estudio 6. Each new property will showcase elements of the "Phoenix" room design featured at Motel 6 and Studio 6 properties in the U.S. and Canada.
