Casa de Campo had its international reputation validated at the recent 2013 World Travel Awards. Casa de Campo also was nominated in the category of Caribbean’s Leading Resort and in the category of World’s Leading Sports Resort.

The Jewel Paradise Cove Beach Resort and Spa officially opened in St Ann, Jamaica on Saturday. The resort, which was formerly the Hedonism III property, was acquired by Sagicor Jamaica Group in May and then underwent a $5 million renovation.

The opening of the Sandals LaSource Grenada has been postponed to Dec. 21. The resort had been scheduled to open on Dec. 12, but “due to weather conditions and other operational challenges,” the opening was delayed by nine days, Sandals said in a statement.

 

Beaches Antigua, which will be built on the site of the company’s existing Grand Pineapple Resort in Long Bay will boast one to four bedroom rooms and suites, up to 12 restaurants, conferencing facilities and a wide range of exhilarating and unique features.
