Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has released its latest report on the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism market, revealing stable prospects and balanced market conditions heading into 2025.

For instance, Greece has announced a new tax for cruise passengers disembarking in Mykonos and Santorini, two islands at the center of the overtourism debate.

According to the 2024 ranking of the world's top 20 countries published by U.S. travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler in October, Vietnam ranks 15th with a score of 89 points.

This sector plays a vital role in driving economic growth, particularly in remote areas, while also preserving cultural heritage and empowering Indigenous communities.
