Ecuador’s ministry of tourism has reported that the tourism infrastructure, services and attractions are in excellent condition after the earthquake.

The twin-island destination of Antigua & Barbuda in the Eastern Caribbean has been firing on all cylinders, from a wave of large-scale resort development deals to a brand-new airport that has already become one of the Caribbean’s best.

The number of foreign tourist arrivals to Barbados has increased this season as compared with the same period last year, said tourism minister Richard Sealy.

Minister of tourism and international transport, Richard Sealy, said while last season saw a record number of tourists coming to the island, the numbers for this year were “up” on that number.
