
Bahamas Ministry of Tourism officials this week launched “From Bahamas With Love” – a new promotion aimed at luring tourists to The Bahamas, that logged over 76,000 stopover visitors in 2014.

The Caribbean islands drew 28.7 million stopover arrivals in 2015, a 7 percent increase from the year before, and not unexpectedly, Cuba led the way with 17.4 percent growth.

Haiti’s efforts to boost tourism appear to be paying off. The Caribbean country reported a 10.9 percent increase in stayover visitors in 2015, according to the latest numbers from the CTO.

The USVI saw a particularly strong winter season, with a 6.3 percent improvement over the previous year, along with a 4.6 percent improvement over the summer season.
