Curacao saw 60,690 overnight visitors in August 2025, marking about a 4% increase compared with the same month in 2024.

The rise is largely attributed to higher demand from travelers in the Americas, particularly from the U.S. and Canada.

Tourism officials said efforts in marketing and improved air connectivity helped bring more visitors.

Despite summer being peak season, maintaining this momentum into later months is being viewed as a positive sign for the island’s tourism resilience.

Curacao is using this success to promote its cultural, culinary, and nature-based experiences alongside its beaches.

Challenges remain such as managing infrastructure, ensuring consistent service quality, and handling visitor expectations as numbers increase.
