Miami Beach Crowned No. 1 U.S. Honeymoon Destination for 2025
Miami Beach has claimed the top spot as the No. 1 honeymoon destination in the United States, according to a new survey by Upgraded Points. Evaluating over 75 vacation spots based on 15 criteria—including romantic accommodations, couple-friendly activities, and affordability—Miami Beach topped the list with a score of 71.4 out of 100, beating out iconic destinations such as Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, and Savannah.
According to the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority, couples are drawn to the city’s blend of effortless romance, diverse accommodations, and memorable experiences. From sunset sailboat rides and jet skiing to luxury spas, culinary tours, and Art Deco heritage, Miami Beach caters to a wide variety of honeymoon styles.
“Miami Beach is a destination that celebrates all couples,” said Peggy Benua, Chairwoman of the Authority. “With no passport required, a collection of specialty hotels and cultural experiences, and an unmatched coastal vibe, it’s easy to see why couples fall in love with the city—and with each other—here.”

The iconic Eden Roc Miami Beach, with its Mid-Century Modern design, oceanfront suites, and world-renowned Nobu restaurant, delivers both glamour and convenience.
Beyond accommodations, couple-friendly adventures include BouYah Water Sports, couples' spa treatments at Faena’s Tierra Santa Healing House, and self-guided cultural tours via the EXP Miami Beach Tours App. The app offers custom itineraries like the Miami Beach Icons Tour, LGBTQ+ nightlife, and the Art in Public Places trail.
