The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially named Stacey A. Liburd as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 15, 2025. Liburd joins the GTA after nearly five years at the Anguilla Tourist Board, where she most recently served as Director of Tourism.

“I am deeply honored to accept the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority,” said Liburd in an official statement. “Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique are destinations of exceptional beauty, culture, and potential. I look forward to working closely with our industry partners to further elevate our brand and ensure that tourism continues to deliver meaningful, sustainable benefits to our people.”

In her new position, Liburd will be tasked with implementing Grenada’s national tourism strategy, strengthening partnerships across the sector, and driving sustainable growth throughout the industry.

The appointment signals a fresh chapter for the GTA, with a renewed focus on key markets, sustainability, and promoting the tri-island nation as a leading destination in the Caribbean.
