Tourism Northern Ireland (Tourism NI) has launched its Autumn “Power Up” campaign, aimed at revitalizing the regional tourism industry and supporting local businesses amid post-pandemic recovery. The initiative integrates artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help tourism operators better manage operations and enhance customer experiences.

The campaign focuses on sustainable tourism practices, encouraging businesses to adopt environmentally responsible approaches, such as reducing energy use, promoting local products, and supporting community-driven initiatives.

Tourism NI is also providing training programs and workshops for small and medium-sized tourism enterprises, focusing on digital marketing, AI-based analytics, and strategic planning to attract more visitors during the autumn season.

Local hotels, tour operators, and cultural attractions are being encouraged to participate, helping them improve visibility, efficiency, and overall visitor satisfaction.

The initiative is expected to not only boost regional tourism revenue but also create new jobs, particularly in rural areas where economic diversification is most needed.

Officials hope the campaign will position Northern Ireland as a modern, tech-savvy, and sustainable destination, appealing to both domestic and international travelers seeking innovative and responsible tourism experiences.
