In a move to strengthen the sustainability journey of the Travel & Tourism industry, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has partnered with Greenview to launch a new Global ESG Policy Tracker. This innovative tool is designed to help businesses stay aligned with evolving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations and implement responsible practices worldwide.

Developed with Greenview, a recognized leader in sustainability data solutions, the tracker provides an interactive online dashboard that maps ESG policies at regional, national, and state levels. It allows businesses to access the most current regulatory developments and interpret their implications through detailed summaries and regular quarterly updates.

A key feature of the platform is the inclusion of a dedicated advisory group, which ensures that the tracker evolves in step with the needs of the industry. It also offers region-specific insights and thematic policy summaries, making it a valuable strategic resource for companies navigating today’s complex sustainability landscape.

According to Julia Simpson, WTTC President & CEO, the tool responds to the increasing pressure on companies to meet diverse ESG requirements. “This partnership delivers a crucial solution for industry players, helping them not just keep up, but lead in responsible and future-ready tourism,” she said. Simpson emphasized the importance of having clear, timely, and actionable insights to drive progress and accountability.

Eric Ricaurte, Founder & CEO of Greenview, highlighted the tool’s practical impact: “By combining our expertise with WTTC’s global reach, we’re offering a resource that supports long-term resilience and meaningful change in the hospitality and tourism sectors.”

The ESG Policy Tracker represents a major milestone in WTTC’s broader strategy to promote a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient global tourism industry. It reinforces the Council’s commitment to empowering its members and stakeholders with the tools needed to meet sustainability goals and navigate an increasingly regulated global market.

This launch positions the tracker as an indispensable asset for businesses aiming to integrate ESG compliance into their core operations, helping them benchmark, anticipate regulatory shifts, and deliver on sustainability commitments.
