Alaska Airlines Celebrates New Seattle-Taipei Flights with STARLUX

Alaska Airlines is celebrating the launch of STARLUX Airlines' inaugural nonstop service between Seattle and Taipei, marking STARLUX’s third U.S. destination.

Operating three times a week, this route offers luxury transpacific travel with world-class service and amenities. Flights are available for booking directly on Alaska Airlines' website, with a codeshare partnership set to expand the seamless flying experience soon.

Alaska Airlines' Mileage Plan members can earn and redeem miles on STARLUX flights. The new Seattle-Taipei service connects passengers to over 20 destinations across Asia, including major cities in Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan.

The flights are operated on STARLUX’s Airbus A350, featuring four cabin classes—First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy—each designed for comfort on the 6,000+ mile journey. Passengers enjoy luxury touches like curated in-cabin aromatherapy, Michelin-rated meals, and advanced seatback entertainment systems.

STARLUX CEO Glenn Chai highlighted Seattle as a key milestone in their U.S. expansion strategy, enabling connections from over 100 U.S. cities via the West Coast to Asia Pacific, enhancing travel options and service quality for customers.
