Alerion Aviation Names Daniel Ramirez as New CEO

Alerion Aviation has appointed Daniel Ramirez as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), overseeing the company’s fleet of 17 private jets and a team of over 100 professionals. With a strong background in aviation safety, operations, and leadership, Ramirez will lead Alerion’s continued expansion and commitment to service excellence.
Ramirez brings extensive industry experience, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Vista Americas, a division of XOJET Holdings, where he managed one of the industry’s most complex corporate flight programs. Prior to that, he was Director of Safety at XOJET, overseeing flight safety initiatives such as the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), and Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA).
His career also includes key roles at Embraer Executive Jets, where he led flight safety programs and participated in global aviation safety initiatives under ICAO’s Annex 13 protocols. A former U.S. Naval Flight Officer, Ramirez holds degrees in aviation management and system safety from Lynn University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and the University of Florida. He is also a commercially rated pilot with multiple type ratings.
