Avelo Airlines Kicks Off 2025 as America’s Most Reliable Airline

Avelo Airlines is kicking off 2025 as America’s most reliable airline after achieving top industry performance in 2024. The airline ranked #1 in on-time arrivals, with 83.9% of flights arriving within 15 minutes of schedule, outperforming the industry average of 77.6%. It also had the lowest cancellation rate, with just 0.48% of nearly 19,000 flights canceled, well below the industry average of 1.33%.

In 2024, Avelo flew 2.4 million passengers, surpassing 6 million since its launch in April 2021. The airline expanded its network to 49 destinations, including its first international routes to Cancun, Mexico, and Montego Bay, Jamaica. For 2025, Avelo plans to add 15 more routes, including Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, as its third international destination.

Avelo’s fleet grew to 20 Boeing 737s in 2024, with plans to add three more in 2025. It also opened new operational bases in California and Florida while announcing two additional bases for 2025 in North Carolina. The airline now operates with more than 1,100 employees, continuing to build momentum in its third year of operations.
