SAFII Launches to Standardize Sustainable Aviation Fuel Quality

The Sustainable Aviation Fuels Institute Inc. (SAFII) has been established to unite key stakeholders in the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry and ensure consistent fuel quality standards as the aviation sector advances toward global climate goals.

Launched in 2024, SAFII serves as a central resource for industry leaders, technical experts, policymakers, and supply chain partners, providing insights on legislation, research, and SAF testing methods. The organization is currently the only entity authorized to teach ASTM standards for aviation fuel quality.

SAFII’s mission includes training, networking, and knowledge-sharing through webinars, events, and roundtable discussions. The organization aims to foster collaboration and drive innovation within the SAF industry, ensuring a more efficient and sustainable fuel supply chain.

SAFII membership is open to professionals and organizations involved in SAF development, distribution, and policy-making.
