Azamara Cruises Launches Destination Immersion Elevated

Azamara Cruises, the boutique cruise line celebrated for its Destination Immersion® concept and Extended Destination Days, is charting a bold new course with the unveiling of Destination Immersion® Elevated. This transformative initiative introduces a suite of new shore programs and onboard enhancements that promise to give travelers a deeper, more meaningful journey.

Designed to bring each port to life like never before, Destination Immersion® Elevated features a sweeping expansion in cultural engagement, authentic local cuisine, and immersive excursions.

The program will more than triple Azamara’s specialty voyages—increasing from six to 22 unique sailings, including three Solar Eclipse cruises in 2026. Guests can also expect 33 Country-Intensive Voyages, 25 new ports across 2025-2026, and unmatched shore access with 51% of port time designated for late-night or overnight stays.

Azamara will offer over 13,500 Elevated Excursions throughout 2025-2026, including 246 new night tours, which continue the brand’s mission to “own the night.” These in-depth adventures can now be booked up to 18 months in advance, giving travelers greater flexibility and planning power.

A standout addition is the Curator’s Collection, an elite lineup of once-in-a-lifetime shore experiences designed by the team behind the renowned AzAmazing Evenings. These excursions, guided by locals, offer exclusive access to cultural landmarks and traditions rarely seen by the average tourist.

Azamara also introduces 34 new AzAmazing Evenings, the highest number in its history. These intimate cultural showcases, led by regional Destination Speakers, provide rare insights and unforgettable memories in destinations around the world.
