In a major upgrade to its mid-tier fleet, MSC Cruises announced today that it will add its exclusive MSC Yacht Club to two more ships, the MSC Musica and the MSC Orchestra

This expansion marks the completion of the "Yacht Club" rollout for the entire Musica class, bringing the total number of ships with the "ship-within-a-ship" enclave to 19 fleetwide. The MSC Poesia is also set to emerge from dry dock this month with its own Yacht Club installed just in time for its 2026 Alaska season.

The MSC Yacht Club is a hallmark of the line’s luxury strategy, offering 24-hour butler service, private dining, and a dedicated concierge in a secluded section of the ship. By retrofitting its older Musica-class vessels, MSC is aiming to provide a consistent premium experience across its global itineraries, from the Mediterranean to the South American coast.

This move reflects the 2026 industry trend of "hybrid cruising," where mass-market ships offer high-end, exclusive zones to capture travelers who want both mega-ship amenities and boutique-level service.

For cruisers, this means more opportunities to experience "luxury for less" on some of MSC's most popular regional routes. As the MSC Musica prepares for its South American season later this year, the addition of the Yacht Club is expected to drive higher booking rates among affluent regional travelers.

Today’s news confirms that the "suite life" is no longer reserved for only the newest and largest ships, as cruise lines work to elevate their entire portfolios for the 2026 season.
